ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024 event is set to take place on July 26. The event will take place at Esports Stadium in Arlington, TX, where AEW and ROH are in residency for one month. Mark Briscoe has become ROH World champion by defeating Eddie Kingston in the main event of ROH SuperCard of Honor 2024 back in the month of April. As he has successfully defended his title once against Kyle Fletcher on June 20th, he will put it on the line again at Death Before Dishonor, as he will face a former ROH World champion in Roderick Strong, who has indeed held the belt before, between September 2010 and March 2011. Athena is the current and the longest reigning ROH Women’s World champion. She has won the championship at Final Battle 2022, and she approaches the 600 days mark as champion. At Death Before Dishonor, she will defend her title against Queen Aminata, and she will arrive at the Esports Stadium as champion since 594 days. Three other championship matches have been announced: Billie Starkz will defend the ROH Women’s World TV championship against Red Velvet, Wheeler Yuta will put the ROH Pure championship on the line against Lee Moriarty, and Atlantis Jr. will face Brian Cage, Johnny TV, Lee Johnson, Lio Rush and Shane Taylor in a 6-man Survival of the Fittest match for the ROH World TV championship. The match card now has 10 matches announced, leading with Mark Briscoe defending ROH World Championship against Roderick Strong. Briscoe was recently part of Blood & Guts match also. Athena will look to continue her ROH Women’s Title reign against Queen Aminata. Billie Starkz will defend Women’s TV title against Red Velvet. Another important match on the card is Texas Deathmatch between Diamante and Layla Hirsch. Atlantis Jr. will defend Men’s TV title in a Survival of the Fittest match against Lio Rush, Shane Taylor, Brian Cage, Lee Johnson and Johnny TV.
